BMW windscreen washer jets not working easy fix.Buy an inexpensive Air Compressor kit HERE:
Water bottle off with a 10mm so you can get to the 2 pumps. Pop them off and remove filter. The top pump is for the headlight washers-this filter was'nt too gunged up but the bottom pump for the windscreen was. Clean it out and job done.
Behind your center console. Adjust that setting to open vents and heat. If the rear passenger area gets hot, then your core is clear and the flaps for the front are not working. If it’s still warm, then your heater core is probably still clogged. gotcha ya, back seat vents seem the same temp..
2009 E90 - Hood won't open on one side. Just started last week. Pull the lever to release the hood and it pops. Right side (facing the car) releases fine, but the left side does not unlatch. Impossible to get the hood open, even after pressing the lever in the middle under the hood.
Currently the same issues remain, on the drivers side the bulb to the running light "bars" doesn't work and on the passenger side the bulbs for the running light don't work. However after messing with the car its now showing a CCID-133 (Right Rear Light Failure) & CCID-134 (Right Brake Light Failure) fault codes.
Hi all I am new to the forum and BMW's. I have had my 2007 E91 320d MSport about 6 months and absolutely love it. However this last week it has frustrated the hell out of me. The rear passenger window doesn't work (the warning light is on the dash, flashing and beeping) so I have purchased a
Heater and rear window defroster stopped working. I have a BMW 128i and my AC, heater and rear window defroster stopped working all at the same time. The lights come on the control panel when activated but there is no heat in the car and the rear window does not defrost. I am currently in a cold storm with average temperatures of -20 degrees C
#1 · Feb 23, 2017 Hey guys. The heated rear window on my touring (rear side windows and tailgate window) isn't working. I've checked the fuse and its ok, the button light illuminates as it should. Any ideas? Is there a relay or something else that could be faulty?
Opening and closing the rear window. Small items can be loaded and unloaded quickly when the rear window is opened separately. The cargo area cover is raised when the rear window is opened. Location: Poland. iTrader: ( 1) i believe that e91 stoplight spoiler is best place for such antenna. nbt require it's own diversity amplifier because it's quite different from e-series amplifers. e-series have one coaxial to amplifier and smart amplfier with power and control bus.
The window will go up normally (other automatically because you fully pressed the switch), or incrementally (because you slightly pressed the switch). And if the leading top edge of a closing window triggers the anti-trap feature because of an arm, hand, stick, kids neck, etc, it'll automatically reverse and go down all the way.
Heat doesn’t get very hot.. Barely warm.. I put a new genuine BMW thermostat into it.. Purged it twice with the hold gas pedal method.. No change.. The driver and passenger temperature dials do seem to work, if I turn them all the way to the left/cold it gets cold as it should, but all the way to the right/hot it gets warmer but not very hot..
It seems like once the window hits the bottom stop thats what causes the problem. So I thought what was happening was the window was lowering to low and cocking in the guides so my solution was to machine a stop and bolt it to the regulator a 1/2" above the regulators stop so the glass wouldnt go down quite as far as before and that would fix
4. Roll window up. Do NOT panic if window doesn't go all the way up. Mine would only go up about 3inches. Then I would hold the up button again and it would only go up another 3inches or so. Keep doing this until the window is all the way in the up position as the window has not been reset in the up position yet. Let go of button. 5.
