The softer nature of this engine map it allows quite subtle changes of speed. The Sport mode makes cruise control a choppier affair and street mode falls in the middle. Fuel range will obviously vary with use, but with cruise engaged at 120 km/h (75mph), rain mode used I consistently get 20 kilometers to a liter.

The only issue on the 16’s that I’m aware of was a software update that improved the electronic suspension. The only negatives were the cruise control on the right hand side and the up only quick shifter. I owned thé duke for a year before switching to the adventure and owned a GT before the duke. I’d like to comment on your first question. I don’t own a car and do commute on my bikes to work all year round. 70% of it through highway. Lane splitting about half of it.
