The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee earned a 5-star score after performing a little better in the NHTSA’s frontal crash test. Both SUVs earned the same less-than-stellar report from the nonprofit Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) after the two scored only a Marginal rating in the IIHS’s new challenging small-overlap front crash test. Comfort 3/10. Standard suspension upsets the Grand Cherokee’s comfort. A big 4x4 should soak up nasty road surfaces with aplomb, but cheaper versions of the Grand Cherokee fails to do that
